There are thousands of probiotic strains and species. Each one has a different function. I wanted specific types (non-dairy strains for example) in specific amounts that are effective in both the large and small intestines. I included Digestive Enzymes because they are found in the saliva and all throughout the digestive system. I couldn’t find what I wanted in other brands, so I decided to formulate exactly what I wanted for me and my family.
The digestive system has several parts working as a whole. In my opinion, absorbing nutrients from the food that we eat is as important as supplementing my good bacteria. Digestive Enzymes help to break down and absorb nutrients from foods. I wanted to combine the benefits of enzymes and two sources of probiotics. In order to get exactly what I wanted required using 19 ingredients. That’s a lot of ingredients in one capsule, but it makes it easier to use and more affordable than having to buy multiple products.

I take them around the same time every day, one in the morning, one in the afternoon, and one in the evening. For me, it’s a part of my daily routine. I find that with any daily routine, it’s a personal decision as to what is easiest for your schedule.

I wanted to know that the high standards that I require would be met. Blister packs are useful for protecting our product ingredients against external factors such as humidity. They also make it more convenient for me when I am traveling as I can keep a blister pack in my purse or bag.
I developed DBR™ for my family. Costs and normal business operations were never a consideration until we decided to share it with other people, but that came long after we selected the ingredients. I do plan to evolve our products as technology and science allows us to possibly improve upon what we have, but as of right now, I am completely satisfied with our product results and have no immediate plans to make any changes.
If you look at other brands of Probiotics, most of them have only a few ingredients, and they cost close to what you would pay for a box of DBR™. Digestive enzymes cost more than probiotics. DBR™ has 10 digestive enzymes and 9 probiotics, for a total of 19 ingredients. If you purchase probiotics and digestive enzymes separately, you would easily pay twice the cost of DBR™. For those customers that only take 1 capsule per day, it’s a 30 day supply. I personally use 3 capsules per day. One box of DBR™ gives me a 10 day supply. It’s easy to pack when traveling and I can take out just an individual blister to keep in my bag throughout the day.

Other products market “a specific probiotic strain and species” but do they all have the same benefits?
There are many strains of probiotics available; however it is important to understand that each strain and each species within that strain may perform different health benefits. There are several other products that focus their marketing efforts on one specific strain and species. DBR™ contains 2 types of probiotics with 9 different sources and 10 different digestive enzymes.
‘Digestive enzymes’ are enzymes that break down polymeric macromolecules into their smaller building blocks, in order to facilitate their absorption by the body. Digestive enzymes are found in the digestive tract where they aid in the digestion of food as well as inside the cells, especially in their lysosomes where they function to maintain cellular survival. Digestive enzymes are diverse and are found in the saliva secreted by the salivary glands, in the stomach secreted by cells lining the stomach, in the pancreatic juice secreted by pancreatic exocrine cells, and in the intestinal (small and large) secretions, or as part of the lining of the gastrointestinal tract.

Certain yogurts contain probiotics. DBR™ does not contain dairy but we do have digestive enzymes which breaks down specific nutrients in foods and is a primary reason that we do not put our product in yogurt. Many people with occasional digestive upsets are lactose intolerant which is why we offer our products in capsule form. DBR™ is convenient to take with you anywhere as they do not require refrigeration such as yogurt does.
You can take Daily Body Restore® Probiotic Supplement with Digestive Enzymes anytime throughout the day either with or without food.
If you can’t swallow DBR™ capsules, we recommend that you open it and pour DBR™ into either cold or room temperature applesauce and eat it immediately. We do not recommend that you do this with “hot” food or beverages as heat can destroy the live bacteria.
